In 1997 Komfort- Campingpark Burgstaller was awarded by the German Camping Club with the "DCC-Europapreis". Since 2001 we are "ADAC-Superplatz" by the German ADAC-camping-guide. At the "CARAVANING - Leserwahl" (election by the readers of Germany's most popular camping magazine) Burgstaller is voted one of Europe's best campsites every year, e.g. in 2004, 2007 and 2009 most number one votes all over Europe or in 2005 and 2006 between the first three places in all summer- categories and First Place as "Most Sympathetic Campsite". For our TOP-CAMPING AUSTRIAsanitary facilities the ADAC awarded us with the "Campingpreis 2006".

Millstätter See vom GlanzOn 7,5 ha flat meadowland, honeycombed with shadowgiving trees and hedges and only 100 m away from the shallow eastern lakeside of the up to 27°C warm Millstätter See we installed the 580 pitches, divided into categories between 60 and 120m2.Strand KinderbereichEvery pitch is equipped with its own electric-, water-, drain- , TV- and internetconnection and most of them are bordered by hedges on three sides. am Campingplatz The parklike campground with its asphalt main roads (well lit during the night) is located in a quiet area and is guarded day and night for your quiet and security. The campside is surrounded by the Carinthian Nockberge, which are perfect for mountain walking for experts as well as for beginners. One day tours can be made to Venice, Salzburg or Vienna or to the many cultural and historical landmarks in Carinthia.
Facilities:

Komfort-Campingpark Burgstaller offers a big number of facilities for your daily needs (2 restaurants, supermarket with Einfahrt und Rezeptioncamping equipment, gas etc.) camping facilities (camper service station, car wash etc.) and facilities for spare times (pool, beach, playgrounds, sports ground, riding school, discoteque, open-air stage, tenniscourts etc.). Every pitch is equipped with its Sanitär 2own electric-, water-, drain- , TV- and internetconnection. The three sanitary facilities are rated 5 stars by the German ADAC, the two newest buildings (2001 and 2005) are up until today "Europe's most modern" and "most incredible sanitary facilities" Sanitär 3with e.g. TV in every lavatory ore the life size pirateship for the children. The awards by Europe's most important camping guides, magazines and clubs show, that our infrastructure can fullfill all your needs...
